Athlete's Oath: "Let me win. But if I can not win, let me be brave in the attempt".
Bradford/Sullivan Counties Special Olympics of Pennsylvania offers sports to individuals with intellectual disabilities ranging from age 5 , (Young Athletes,who can start training in sports as it is available), with no age cap. Individuals from the age of 8 through adulthood can compete in local, regional, state, national, and even world events. Currently, our athletes can participate in Athletics (track and field) and swimming in the spring, long distance running and walking in the fall, and bowling in the winter. All of this is offered at no cost to the athlete or their families. Athletes can be a participant: coming to play and enjoy their sport, or a competitor: completing 8 weeks of training and going onto competitions as they are available.
In order to grow we need you as an athlete , a volunteer or a donor. Our mission can not be reached without you. So, join our team!
